This large button isn made from black Canadian clay and is embossed with a leaf design that its highlighted in white against the natural black clay colour. It is a striking piece and would be beautiful on a bag or purse or as a focal button on a coat. It has a pleasing smooth feel and a slightly matte appearance. It has been fired in my kiln to stoneware hardness and is not affected by water or detergent.
