The beautiful oval buttons have been glazed with a beautiful copper glaze and have the appearance of copper metal that has oxidized (like the a copper metal roof on a building). Each button is hand made from black Canadian clay and the buttons have a pleasing smooth feel to the touch.
After glaze was applied 3 times, they were fired in my kiln to stoneware hardness.

Yes, they can be gently washed and are not affected by water or laundry detergent.
How are they shipped?
The buttons are shipped attached to a decorative card with a removable adhesive. If you prefer that they ship loose, please advise when you place your order.
